Pearl Robison
1 chopped onion
1 package onion soup
½ green pepper, diced
1 package chicken noodle soup
2 stalks celery with leaves, diced
4 1/2 cups water
1 lb.sausage
1 cup uncooked rice
½ lb. ground beef
Brown sausage. Drain in colander. Use a little fat to cook hamburger and diced vegetables. Boil water and added soup mixes. Combine with other ingredients. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees in covered casserole. Feeds a big family or a crowd!
Source: A tried and true family pleaser. Holds well as a covered dish for get -togethers.
